Bonnie Duarte

I'm a Registered Social Service Worker and Professional Certified Coach with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Worker (OCSWSSW), and I'm accredited through the International Coach Federation (ICF). I specialize in helping people healing past divorce grief and trauma. 

I began my Social Services career back in 2004 and I've been serving families, individuals, and groups ever since.  I've gained valuable experience working with high conflict families and youth, I worked for youth shelters and residential treatment homes and I led life skills programs in a woman's shelter for women and children at the effect of domestic violence.

I bring a unique set of tools to the table, as a Professional Certified Life Coach I do not offer talk therapy; but rather I teach my clients how to heal. It is sometimes surprising to know that healing is a learned skill and most people of us have never been taught. I support people like you to move forward with confidence and peace and knowing how to heal more effective will make a world of difference.

People that seek me out for support are deeply struggling with their marital separation; some are not ready to let go and others want to let go but it's harder than they ever could imagine. Many of my clients have faced adultery and abuse including narcissist partnerships. They have often taken a leave of absence from their work or are unable to focus on their required workload, and feel they are falling behind. My clients often describe themselves as not being able to stop thinking about their ex or unable to concentrate and move forward, as they are bombarded with shame and many other emotions. 

I have been in the face of divorce my whole life, so it is no surprise that I have chosen Divorce Healing as my passion and career. As a  child of 4-divorces (my parents married and divorced 4 separate people) and I myself am a step-parent of 13 years, I have seen time and time again where divorce has gone wrong. What I have learned professionally and first-hand is if parents heal their children  be okay. Creating a new healthy family begins with you and this is great news! Now you are back in the driver's seat of your families success. 

I am also a workshop facilitator to Elementry School Parents “Building Resilient Families”, “7 Essential Stress-Reducing Tools for your Teens”; And I lead regular divorce workshops on “Discovering Your  Blueprint”, “Core Values”, and “Eliminating Shame”. And, I have written an electronic handbook, 

I teach a step by step process that will help you achieve your personalized unique divorce healing goals. Supporting individuals like you to heal beyond your divorce so that you can grow and be proud of the person that you have become is my passion.  I promise to help you through the emotional aspect of divorce, allowing you to be your best self during the separation and divorce process.
